We build the plumbing that the software you already pay for never got around to.
TaskMate is made by Deccan Logic, a small software team with a long-running irritation about the same problem.
We spent years building and integrating business systems, and watched the same thing happen everywhere we went. However good the individual tools are, the gaps between them get filled by a person doing the same thing over and over — copying a number from one screen to another, checking a portal on the 18th of the month, re-typing a customer into a third system.
That work never justifies a proper integration project. It's too small, too specific to one business, and the vendor is never going to build it. So it stays manual, and it stays expensive in the way that's easiest to ignore: an hour here, an afternoon there, forever.
AI finally makes those gaps closable without a developer for each one. But the obvious way to use it — point a model at the screens and let it work them out on every single run — is the expensive way. You pay tokens each time, you wait for the model each time, and you get a slightly different result each time. For a task that touches money or a filing deadline, that last one is disqualifying.
So we built TaskMate the other way round. The model understands the task once, while you're defining it. After that it's out of the loop, and what runs is fast, cheap, and the same every time. AI where it adds value; determinism everywhere else.
We're at MVP stage and working closely with our first users. If you have a routine that eats hours every week, we'd like to hear about it — that feedback is genuinely shaping what we build next, including which industries we focus on first.
- Cost-efficient by designAI where it adds value, deterministic execution everywhere else. Your bill shouldn't scale with how often you run something.
- Your data stays yoursTasks run on your machine, against your sessions and your files. We keep what we need to run your account, and no more.
- Predictable over cleverWhen a task touches money or a compliance deadline, doing the same thing every time matters more than doing something impressive.
- Open by defaultBuilt on the MCP standard, so the tools you define compose with the growing ecosystem rather than locking you into ours.
