Terms of Service
Draft — not yet reviewed
Placeholder. An outline of the terms, not a reviewed legal document. Have this drafted properly before you take payments.
What this covers
The agreement between Deccan Logic and you as a user of the TaskMate desktop application and this website, including the free plan and any paid plan.
Sections to write
- Account creation, eligibility and your responsibility for activity under your account
- Licence to use the software, and what you may not do with it
- Credits: how they are allocated, consumed, topped up and reset
- Paid plans: billing cycle, taxes, renewal, refunds and cancellation
- Your content and your automations — you own them
- Availability, support commitments and any service levels you intend to offer
- Liability limits, indemnity, governing law and dispute resolution
- How changes to these terms are notified
One thing worth stating plainly
TaskMate automates actions you are already entitled to perform, using your own credentials, on your own machine. You remain responsible for whether a given automation is permitted by the terms of the sites and systems it operates on.
