What changes
- It's done before anyone arrives. The schedule runs at 07:30; the exception list is waiting rather than being produced at 11am.

Questions on this one
What if the bank changes its statement layout?
The run stops on that step and tells you what it couldn't find, rather than guessing. Re-record that one step and the rest of the task carries on unchanged.
Can it post entries, or only match them?
Both, but we'd suggest starting read-only: let it produce the matched list and the exceptions for a couple of weeks, and turn on writing once you trust it.
